Which suburb do you call home?
Mermaid Beach

What makes that suburb the best on the GC?
We can walk to the beach, walk to a number of parks with the kiddies, walk to numerous coffee shops and I love the community feel chatting to the other locals who regularly walk past with surf board under arm.

Fave place to stop, relax for 20 mins and enjoy a morning cuppa? And what treat is on the plate beside your hot bevvie?
Ooh such a tough question, we have so many awesome chill spots with yummy brewed coffee. At the moment, I love a brew from Double Barrel or my local Background Barista. I do also love to just chill with a take away at the end of our street on the deck overlooking the beach!

Fave Gold Coast casual dining location? What’s on the menu?
Toss up between Bam Bam Bakehouse where we can grab one of their blankets sit on the grass and enjoy ‘picnic rug service’ – perfect for the kiddies! Or Marie Anitas with their organic, gluten free healthy meals and cute little backyard that’s also great for the kliddies.

You’re planning a fun, local night out with your mates? Which three locations top your list and why?
Hmm a night out??? Haven’t known one of those for a while … last bit of fun involved some axe throwing at Lumber Punks in Miami followed by the yummiest ever steak and chippies at the Glenelg Public House.

Best local spot for family hangs why?
The Historic Rivermill at Nerang is fab hanging out on the riverbank or the verandah overlooking the beauty of the Coomera River and the kiddies can run, play and enjoy a chat and a pat with the animals.

Fave Gold Coast shopping destination?
Not much of a shopper but Miami Farmer Markets are a pleasure with fresh fruit and veges and yummy treats.

Complete this sentence: Only a Gold Coast local knows…
How awesome our Gold Coast really is!
