Carrigan Colours Diva
The October worldwide release of the Carrigan inspired ‘Diva' range of women specific bikes has met with universal approval, not least so because of their unique paint schemes and graphics.
“The bikes not only had to perform at the elite ‘Teschner' level, but had to look sensational as well” reports Peter Teschner. “We worked closely with Sara to ensure the bikes had stand-out appeal to women riders of all capabilities”.
A significant effort was made to ensure that the bikes could readily be identified as being part of the TTG range of high-performance equipment. “Colour choice was particularly important on the Diva range,” says Teschner. “We did focus group studies in Sydney with women riders to determine the kind of styling and coloring they preferred, and currently lacking on mainstream mass-market brands. The results were actually quite surprising. It seemed to us a cliché that we would use pink in a women-specific frameset, but research showed us that the market would accept it if done with style and flair”.
The result is a stunning 3-model range of Diva’s from which the customer can choose. Paint, of course, isn’t just paint! Paint used on high-end bikes are specially formulated to withstand the rigors of the riding environment and should be chip and fade resistant, especially for the Australian climate.
“TTG uses the premium brand on all its framesets, and we work with the manufacturer to develop our own unique colours” says Teschner.
